Administrators AWS Posted March 21, 2013 Administrators Posted March 21, 2013 I've recently noticed my computer being slow, so I scanned with the 2012 version of Trend Micro, and didn't find anything. So, I chose to use Microsoft security essentials, and so the journey began. After scanning, I found a few viruses on there, removed the ones I could, and then it directed me to installing Windows Defender Offline onto a USB, which I did, I went into the boot menu, scanned, removed all I could, but it couldn't remove them all. So I decided to try Malware Bytes to see if that would change anything, same old same old, removed what it found, except a few. So, I went to TDSS Killer, it found a rootkit, and I tried to remove it, but upon restart of my computer in normal mode, the screen went completely black, and asked me to start an EXE from Kapersky lab, and i'm not sure if that is the TDSS killer or not, but I didn't want to run it without knowing, plus the name of the file seemed a little sketchy, like a virus file. So, I went onto the help website, tried downloading Norton Eraser, and it didn't find a single thing. I opened the %Temp% file and erased everything I could except there were 4 TMP files and one Debug log that said they were open in another program and wouldn't let me exit out of them. the TMP files were called "~DF1B4B2FA1A0DD91F4.TMP", "~DF5EEA08B3C342F593.TMP", "~DF999DC9F28D4747DA.TMP, "~DFBC5FBF12D0FD5009.TMP", and the log file called "FXSAPIDebugLogFile". So after attempting this, I downloaded the Microsoft Safety Scanner, which I believed would solve my problems. I was able to remove one of the 6 viruses that it detected, but the other 5 just said I would need to use manual Steps to remove them, when I clicked on the virus to figure out what they were, it gave me the same programs I've already used to try, and failed. So, I'm stuck in a losing battle. The viruses were as follows: "Trojan: Win32/Alueron.FW", Win32/Alueron.gen!AD", "Trojan: Win64/Alueron.gen!F", "Win64/Alueron.gen!L". Is there anything that anybody could think of that would help me solve this problem or atleast give me a resolution? I think I've tried everything that I possibly could. I REALLY could use help. Thank you! By the Way, the Trend Micro Program was the Full paid version, and if it helps any, the log says its found over 4800 Web threats in the last month along with 9 viruses, and I'm currently running my computer in safe mode with networking because It wont run in normal mode.
