Cannot access my late husbands password protected pc

My husband has died and I'm trying to use his PC because it is newer than mine. He had a windows password and I can't figure it out. I can use the pc as a guest but I can't download or change anything in it. I'm not too smart about computers. Is there

some easy and inexpensive way to fix it?
