the server wpad.home at dsl router requires a username and password

I recently downloaded some update files from Microsoft for Microsoft Security and Silverlight. I have now started getting this message when I boot up my computer that says "The server wpad.home at dsl router requires a username and password" It also

has a warning that this information is being asked over a nonsecure server. I hit cancel and the window goes away and everything works, but I am worried that I picked up a virus and I don't want to put my router's password into that screen. Is it truly

a Microsoft thing, or do I have some type of virus? I have run all my virus software and it has found nothing, but I am still concerned. Is there anyway to get rid of it?

I have a Windows 7 64-bit system.

Thank you.
