copying photos to memory card

I have a digital photo viewer that came with a memory card. I would like to load photos from my PC onto the card so I can view them on the digital photo viewer. When I insert the card, a light comes on indicating connection but I cannot locate it in the

removable storage. I have tried a number of tactics but nothing seems to work. Any suggestions?
