i lost windows 8 after i had a problem now i have had to reinstall windows 7

i upgraded to windows 8 then i had a probem with it so ihad to reinstall windows 7 because it would not let me start it up again because it said there was a fault the computer just would not work at all,hence why i had to reinstall windows 7
