an error occured while checking for new updates for your computer. Error Code 8007370D

I have windows 7 Home Premium 64bit. I have never been able to install updates. I have run update fixit. I have run numerous virus and spyware sweeps. I have attempted to locate updates and manually install. I still get this error every time. Please help.
