0x80070002 xp essentials

[AWS]

Security Essentials will not update. Immediately goes to this error. I've tried every fix I can find including:

Microsoft Fixit

Removing folders in the software distribution and download folders of system32

Running windows update

rebooting

This is an XP system and many of the fixes refer to Windows 7

 

What's next?
