Networking not working after Windows 10 April 2018 Update

Since installing the latest Windows 10 Update to ver. 1803 I cannot connect to other computers on my network. All my machines are running Windows 10 Pro x64 ver. 1803. I can "see" the other computers on the network. I can ping their IP addresses but I cannot access the file and printer shares on them. I tell Windows to diagnose the problem and the troubleshooter comes back with the message that it can't find \\MAIN-PC!

I have tried all the solutions I find from Google searches, including activating all modules of SMB 1.0/File sharing and setting Function Discovery Provider Host & Function Discovery Resource Publication to Automatic (delayed start) and ensuring they are running. I have also restarted Server but none of this helps me to connect.

Has anybody yet found a fix that works or do we have to live without networking until Microsoft decide to fix what they broke with this update?
