Problem with apps Cortana and Microsoft edge

Hello I am a big fan of Microsoft.

 

Basically my problem is that Cortana does not work on my pc .The start key works when I press the key with the mouse but the expand pinned tiles those functions and the create explore parts are inaccessible with the mouse the mouse gives no response only to these parts .They work when I use keyboard .Also microsoft edge is not working when I turn it on it shows no result and closes after few second powershell hangs down as well ,pls pls help me.As my exams are coming near I need my computer for preparation s.Thank you
