Guest AmyRupert Posted May 23, 2018 Posted May 23, 2018 After waking up to a blue screen asking me to choose a keyboard language, 4 phone calls with Windows tech support, a trip to the store to buy a USB flash drive, downloading Windows 10 to the drive from my laptop, not being able to boot from the drive on my desktop and 8 hours of lost work time I was told by last rep they were no longer directing people to do clean installs and there was a known issue with the update that had been moved to "the next level" because they could not guarantee data loss. I've been trying to confirm this online because he said it could be 15 to 20 days before a fix was available. Anyone know if this is indeed a known issue being addressed by Microsoft?
