Get Off My Cloud! (Save As... to Hard Drive, Please) Recent File List Forces Cloud-Only Option I don't know if this is a Windows issue, an Office issue, or a OneDrive issue. In a nutshell, when I'm ONline, I'm forced to save to the Cloud (used to be a version management issues online/offline... Seems to have been resolved in a recent update). But when I'm OFFline, Office doesn't save to my preferred file location. It saves to the Windows/Documents folder. I have OneDrive set to save to my PC: I have my Office Default locations set as I think they ought to be, but: How do I get it to save to the desired default location when offline???
