windows 10 update - broken laptop

Hi,

I've had my laptop just over a year. Not cheap.

I'm currently doing a degree assignment.

Windows 10 is ruining my life.

My laptop updated at the weekend and initially I got a blue screen asking me to pick OS, and advising I pick "rollover" which I did.

It went through a few rounds of this when I picked "windows 10" and it started, however nothing would work. No internet. Unable to do anything. Tried to do a system restore, but there was nothing to restore to???

When that all failed I did a reset. It worked once but had to turn off automatic updates to prevent the aforementioned painful update. Since then, if you turn it on, it constantly reboots, I imagine because it's not allowed to update.

So i get the dell start up screen, then for a split second a screen with a cmd box thing then the laptop turns off and restarts itself. It does this continually. Tried starting in safe mode. Doesn't work. It did a driver's check and nothing is wrong...? Something is very wrong.

I have a completely useless laptop which is now out of warranty and broken through absolutely no fault of my own.

Windows 10 is a joke and I believe Microsoft should fix my laptop.

Help!!
