Running Windows XP Pro

WMP Version 11.

Windows Media Player crashes when I try to play all types of videos. And I

do mean all file extensions that are for videos (wmd, aif, mpeg, mpg,

avi..... ect....).

Most of the time, I send the report to MS but we know that does nothing. I

converted the report to a PDF file but I don't think I can attach it to this

post. If I can, then I will.... let me know.

I can't do a rollback, I can't uninstall it. I've reinstalled it but have

the same issues. I've tried decoder but that never helped either so I

uninstalled them too.

Lots to read and did a lot of it.

Seems like lots of people have similar issues but not to many fixes. Some

that I read had to do with a conflict of another player installed, but I

don't have that issue. Lots of people having streaming issues too. I don't

have that issue either. I can watch videos using the browser. Its when

Media Player 11 (URGE) is running that I can't play videos (of any type).

An update to this issue. It seems to be a video card problem. I change the

card and don't have the problem anymore.

Thanks anyway
