Guest AmandaAmandaAmanda Posted October 6, 2007 Posted October 6, 2007 I have Microsoft ME and I think Internet Explorer 5.0 (lame, i know). My problem is that I have a MySpace page, and when I try to look at my pictures or any of my friends pictures I get this: Iexplorer has caused an error in MSHTML.DLL. Iexplorer will now close. If you continue to experience problems, try restarting your computer. Oh, and there's always an exclamation mark inside a yellow triangle that says Done but with errors on page down in the left hand corner of my page. I've tried trouble shooting, but I think it was for Iexplorer 6.0, I don't know if that makes a difference or not but, I tried to run file msconfig, then extract, then extract file ie_1.cab from installation disk, but it tells me that the c:\windows\windows update setup was "...was not found. Verify that you have selected the correct 'Restore From' location and try again. I'm just lost, can anyone help me?
Guest realcestmoi Posted October 8, 2007 Posted October 8, 2007 Hi there, This is not a windows update issue, your question should be asked in internet explorer newsgroup. Sound like repairing failes because the previous downloaded updates for IE5 are missing somehow, try updating again through windows update and than retry a repair.
