Im trying to download the new update they sent to me .

Security Update for Microsoft .NET Framework, Version 1.1 Service Pack 1

(KB928366)

It keeps failing . It show no bytes and no minutes to install each time too,

which is really weird. So of course nothing is going to install and of course

its going to fail. Is there a way to install this manually some place else ?

Or do I need it at all ? I have service pack 2 . Or what is the problem of

trying to install it ? I mean you cant install something if it says no bytes

and no minutes if its just not there , yet says to download makes no sense to

me. It says i have to download it :(

Sorry I don't have an answer for you. I am having the same problem I have

made several attempts to install it myself. I have looked under Add/Remove

Programs and I can't find .NET Framework 1.1 Service Pack 1 there, .NET

Framework 1.1 shows there though. There are 3 Hotfixe's there, KB886903,

KB887998, and KB930494. I have attempted to re-download .NET Framework 1.1

Service Pack 1 and get the message that it is already installed.

Ummm... I'm not sure it could be typed any simpler. Just follow the steps

one at a time. Or do you know someone who is not as intimidated by computers

who could do this for you? Since you are a rebelgirl, where are you? I'm in

the New Orleans burbs so we could be neighbors... or you could be in another

rebel state. LOL

If you use Yahoo Messenger, I could walk you through the

uninstall/reinstall... (I'll try to use babytalk.. lol). If you do use YM,

send me an email with your Yahoo S/N to LNVTM1@gmail.com ... even though

you're a "damned yankee" -) (as my mom use to call my dad who's from Ohio).
