Guest Kasey Posted October 26, 2007 Posted October 26, 2007 For the past 2 weeks unable to run Windows update for Windows XP SP2. Following error message "0x80070570" generated on unable to connect error page. I find this very unnerving and wonder if Microsoft is no longer providing update for Windows XP?

Guest Kasey Posted October 26, 2007 Posted October 26, 2007 Issue now resolved. Thank you very much. I'm very impressed with how my problem was resolved using this forum. PS: issue was with Microsoft Update not Windows update...although I received same error for both. kasey "TaurArian [MS-MVP]" wrote: > You receive a "0x800A01AE" error message or a "0x080070570" error message when you try to > connect to the Windows Update Web page or to the Microsoft Update Web page in Windows > Server 2003 or Windows XP > http://support.microsoft.com:80/kb/910359 > > > -- > ==================================== > TaurArian [MS-MVP] 2005-2008 - Australia > ==================================== > How to make a good post: http://www.dts-l.org/goodpost.htm > Defending your machine: http://defendingyourmachine2.blogspot.com/ > http://taurarian.mvps.org/index.htm > > Emails will not be acknowledged - please post to the newsgroup so all may benefit. > > > "Kasey" <Kasey@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message > news:9C79105C-32D4-4A44-A10A-98201D23FA0E@microsoft.com... > | For the past 2 weeks unable to run Windows update for Windows XP SP2. > | Following error message "0x80070570" generated on unable to connect error > | page.
