Guest Steve Posted July 14, 2007 Posted July 14, 2007 What the hell is wrong with this update? It's not installing on my vista like others have been experiencing as well. I tried installing it after all my other updates. It keeps rebooting twice and when I log back on my computer, it doesn't install and I'm always notified. I tried manually downloading and installing it and that failed. No one from microsoft email support replied back. This is an "Importan" and a high priority update and considering that this is for a Vista OS, it should be imperative for all updates to be able to be installed without problems and be compatible with all previous and current update patches (whatever the update is for). Other than the automatic and manual versions of installation and email contact to help correct this problem, can someone please suggest more options or something please?!
Guest cray Posted July 15, 2007 Posted July 15, 2007 Same problem here. I spent 1hour+with Dell tech support and they assured me this update is for the 64B Vista OS. My problem is, If thats true how do I remove it from my recommended downloads? Microsoft needs to check this out. -- cray "Steve" wrote: > What the hell is wrong with this update? Guest Steve Posted July 15, 2007 Posted July 15, 2007 I agree. Tomorrow I will be calling microsoft to sent me different instructions or something. But if the download and/or installation isn't working, I highly doubt that it's on our computers (since I check and It wasn't on). Good Luck and microsoft should really be addressing these update problems and provide solutions. "cray" wrote: > Same problem here.
