Guest Peter Posted July 15, 2007 Posted July 15, 2007 After installing net framework version 1.1 and 2.0 and version 3.0 and did all the updates. I have had critical updates, but not notified by automatic updates, (no icon). i checked manually and found critical update at the microsft windows update site i download it and installed, with out a problem. I noticed when i rebooted the computer i was asked to log on, thought this strange as i don't use log on, checked the user accounts and found that the net framework had placed one there. Not thinking i deleted it. I am using windows XP Home Edition with SP2 and all updates. If i manually go the microsft windows update site i can download them and install . Cheers
