Upon reboot, they both return. Using the method of unpacking dotnetfix and running NDP1.1sp1-KB928366-X86.exe just gives me an hourglass for a moment and then nothing. (The same issue as putnik. ) Using you later and longer method, I unregister and re-register Windows Installer. It doesn't give me any messages for either, but I assume it worked. Then when I try and uninstall 5067.MSI (the file that says, "Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 RTL x86 enu" in the comments) I get a message that says, "The installation source for this product is not available. Verify that the source exists and that you can access it." Then the only option is "OK". What can I do to fix this problem? Thanks for your help.

Guest C.L. Posted October 31, 2007 Posted October 31, 2007 RE: [sOLUTION] You cannot install KB928366 (.Net Framework 1.1 securit This failed to work for me. I went through the steps outlined and the KB928366 installer did ask for a location for the files. After I supplied it, the installation ran for a minute or so and then said "Info 9006: This patch cannot be installed because it requires Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 Service Pack 1 (SP1). No Microsoft .Net Framework 1.1 SP can be detected on this computer..." "Patrick Philippot" wrote: > Hi, > > This is an old bug showing up again.
