I have the same problem....I have deleted the RebootRequired subkey 100

times and it still comes back in my taskbar telling me to reboot to finish a

previous update install....is there no fix for this headache ?

I have the same problem (it's driving me nuts) has anyone got the answer!

If you have Lavasoft AdAware or any registry* defenders* on disable ,

delete subkey and then reboot .
