Guest JCO Posted July 19, 2007 Posted July 19, 2007 On my daughters computer, you can't shutdown anymore. Instead, it says its installing an update, but it never finishes. I managed to get the update installed correctly, however, the shutdown does the same thing. I guess since I got the update installed by downloading and installing myself, the computer is still confused, thinking it has to install it when I shutdown (creating the same issue over and over again). Must be something in the Registry telling the computer to shutdown in this manner that I can reset?
