Guest Larry Davidson Posted July 20, 2007 Posted July 20, 2007 I'm getting the following message when going into Microsoft Update: The website has encountered a problem and cannot display the page you are trying to view. The options provided below might help you solve the problem. For self-help options: Frequently Asked Questions Find Solutions Windows Update Newsgroup For assisted support options: Microsoft Online Assisted Support (no-cost for Windows Update issues) Does anyone have a workaround? I want to update my Dell D420 laptop - only a few months old. It has Windows XP Professional Version 2002 Service Pack 2 running on it.
