Whenever I go to the custom update area, All the links in there are refrenced

to the home page. Im trying to do optional hardware and software updates, but

unable to do so. This only started after I installed IE7. Anyone? Thanks.

Disable the BitComet add-on prior to accessing Windows Updates

Tools, Internet Options, Programs, Manage Add-ons

If BitComet is not installed then another add-on is causing the issue

OR, if the installed antivirus was actively monitoring the system when

IE7 was installed, then an add-on may have been damaged.

If that's the case then roll back to IE6 by uninstalling IE7 from within

Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel.

Then read this prior to reinstalling it:
