XP Pro / SP2 - Does anyone know about this error? MS don't seem to!

Anyhow, I've used the work around, but I could do with a permanent fix,

short of reinstalling...

Is the latest version of the Windows Update Agent installed along with

KB927891 ? http://support.microsoft.com/kb/932494

 

Has the installed security software/antivirus been configured to NOT

scan the files recommended here ? :
