Guest John D. Leonard -- Sage Posted July 26, 2007 Posted July 26, 2007 I had a Spyware problem - removed it and re-installed my Windows XP Home SP2. Now I cannot do any updates. they down load, but I keep getting the update failed message. I have looked at the log and frankly don't know which error message I should be addressing. Any help appreciated. Thx -- John D. Leonard -- Sage

Guest PA Bear Posted July 26, 2007 Posted July 26, 2007 How did you determine the machine was free of all spyware, why did you "re-install" WinXP if the machine was clean, and how did you "re-install" Windows? -- ~Robear Dyer (PA Bear) MS MVP-Windows (IE, OE, Security, Shell/User) AumHa VSOP & Admin DTS-L.org John D.
