Lenovo BIOS won't let me save and exit

I have a Lenovo 32 bit machine that runs windows vista. Whenever I launch bios, I can use the default password to get in. However, it will not let you save and exit, as well as change the bios admin password. It just lets you look around and then forces you to select "exit without saving changes"EDIT: I just yanked the CMOS battery and its fine now
