Thanks so much for posting these instructions for system restore, my windows 7 computer that I only use for my stereo now since I've recently bought a laptop, would no longer recognize my logon password. I took it to a computer repairman and he told me there was nothing that could be done. After reading your online messages I tried the system restore steps that you had listed and the 3rd one I tried did the trick!!! Thanks a bunch. Alfons.
