Guest Thiru Posted August 6, 2007 Posted August 6, 2007 Hi, I have a Windows Server 2003 which is not connected to the Internet and need to update the patches. How can I download and update patches regularly? It's a database server and not attached to any domain and can't update the patches thru wsus. Thanks and I’d really appreciate your help

You can configure it to download the drivers from your internal WSUS and not install them... Otherwise, each month - manually check for Windows 2003 updates (they come out like everything else - the second Tuesday of the month the majority of the time) and download them. Save them to whatever media you have to to get them to the server, run them and install them. Otherwise - I would have to assume that this machine is not connected to ANY network what-so-ever and no one uses it. -- Shenan Stanley MS-MVP -- How To Ask Questions The Smart Way http://www.catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html
