With the recent release of WinUI 2.8, WebView2 is now Generally Available for desktop UWP apps. Support for this platform was a top ask from our WebView2 customers, and we're thrilled to provide a stable platform offering for customers to build and ship production apps for UWP with WebView2. PowerApps is one of the first WinUI 2 apps to use WebView2 in their production app, using WebView2 to power their entire UI experience. PowerApps allows customers to build apps quickly with a drag-and-drop UI and then deploy with one click to many platforms including iOS, Android, Windows, and the web. We are excited to see more apps being built on this platform and moving to a modern embedded browser control on UWP. To connect with the WebView2 team about your questions, concerns or to share your feedback, please visit us at the WebView2 feedback repo on GitHub – we'd love to hear your feedback! You can also learn more about WebView2 for WinUI 2 in our Getting Started Guide.
