I'm trying to manually take care of dealing with warnings that Microsoft

Security Bulletin (I think) MS07-04, MS07-16, MS07-27. and MS07-33. For

MS07-04 I've downloaded WindowsXP-KB929969-x86-ENU and tried to run it to

install the fix. I get an error message "Setup cancelled."

Can someone advise me how to proceed, please?

Start a free Windows Update support incident request:

https://support.microsoft.com/oas/default.aspx?gprid=6527

Tip: Temporarily disable real-time protection by your anti-virus and/or

anti-spyware applications (e.g., CounterSpy, Spysweeper, Spybot, AVG

Anti-Spyware) and/or any third-party firewall (e.g., ZA) before attempting

to install the update(s).

Thanks for the tip. I unloaded all spyware, antivirus, Google desktop,

Picassa media detector, and blocked internet access but still got the same

error. I'll try creating a new incident report.

Thank you very much for taking the time to respond to my request for help,

Mr. Dyer.
