Laptop can’t pick up to new router Wi-Fi network

Hi, so I recently purchased from a service provider for an uncapped line. My laptop ( MSI CX61), picks up all other Wi-Fi networks, except my new router. I’ve tried restarting both laptop and router, password changes and whatnot but I still can’t pick it up, let alone connect. I need assistance urgently please.
