My desktop icons move when turning second monitor off

So, i have dual monitors, with icons distributed across both.Is there a way to lock the icons on monitor 2 so that when i turn it off, they simply dont rush over to monitor 1 (the main one)??I even have a thrid monitor that is a TV near my bed, and i sometimes use it by itself, but id like the TV desktop to stay free of icons when i turn my 2 monitors off, instead of having all icons rush over to it.
