Guest troothteller Posted June 1, 2024 Posted June 1, 2024 Yesterday I downloaded and installed a new BIOS update for the Windows 10 64-Bit system. Now, the updating does not work. It was either the BIOS or maybe some diagnostic that the computer's manufacturer, HP, provided. Before the download I got some popup stating that the BIOS required a firmware update, which caused me to look for HP diagnostics to run. I installed one of these diagnostics, but uninstalled it when I saw that it did not run. Before I uninstalled it the diagnostic may have done something to the operating system.
