Exiting safe mode boot on a windows 10 laptop with a broken screen and windows key doesn't work

So I use an external monitor for my laptop as the monitor is broken. However, I was having issues with my graphics driver, so I went to boot it into safe mode to fix it, not realizing that safe mode doesn't allow external monitors. Now I am stuck in boot mode, unable to exit as I had set it as the default boot. I've tried the solution here Redirecting, but my windows key doesn't work and so i am unable to open the command prompt. Is there any possible way to fix this?
