Pc suddenly won't recognise headsey

Turned my pc on for the first time since last night and plugged headset in to find my pc wouldn't recognise it. I tried troubleshooting through windows, and it said it was a driver problem but I couldn't fix it itself, I looked at my sound drivers in device manager to try and update them but there wasn't anything there that looked like what I wanted. I also tried to download the drivers from MSIs website but that also didn't work and that's when I ran out of ideas so I came here.My pc is the MSI mag infinite S10 if anyone is wondering
