As i have a slightly loose charger, my laptop likes to constantly unplug and plug itself back in, which causes lag spikes, even though they're both on

whenever my laptop unplugs, even for a split second, it will cause a lag spike as its swapping from plugged in to battery, however they are both on the same power mode, meaning it runs the same right after being unplugged, but the unplugging causes a lag spike as its attempting to swap it i believe, how do i stop it from attempting to swap it?? or just fix it another way
