Windows 10 : Now asking for PIN ; not accepting Password

I have one Admin and one User set up. All of a sudden, in the past hour, I am now prompted for a PIN and denied access via correct passwords.I have found my solution. On the lock screen, just below the password field, I selected Sign-In options (these may already be visible). I Chose Microsoft Account Password and entered my usual password - works perfectly now without moving to the Create PIN page. It now accepts my Admin or User passwords as usual with no difficulty.Note : I do not have to repeat this process with each sign-in. I no longer get the Create PIN screen.
