no audio input output device in device manager

Hi , I bought a used device from a while and it showed many problems in it , I am stuck with the problem were suddenly the sound did not come out , I opened the device manager and uninstalled the audio input and output driver then did the scan for hardware change and it got connected ( I made sure to check it ) , but the sound still did not appear ,I assumed it may need to restart so I did but when the laptop rerun the device ( audio input output ) is not there ( in device manager ), I tried to see the hidden devices , scan hardware changes , checked the sound icon -> right click -> play
