Acer Notebook isn’t charging

I’ve had an acer notebook for about a year and a half, and i stopped using it approximately 8 months ago. I started it up again yesterday and it was fine, sometimes i would notice that it wasn’t charging even though it was plugged in so i would just plug it out then in again and it would charge. Today however, it’s not responding to the charger at all, i’ve changed wall outlets and adapters and nothings working. there is no damage to the lead either. I left it for a while, then came back to it and it still wasn’t charging. the lightbulb and the charger light on the side of the computer were fl
