Windows 11 24h2 update completely broke webcam passthrough (and probably USB in general) via RDP

Hi all, as the title states i can't find a way to get the integrated webcam (and actually ANY USB WEBCAM) passed to any of the 24h2 machines i RDP to. This started only after the 24h2 update of windows 11 with any USB/integrated camera while i'm connected via RDP. this happens since the 24h2 earliest update, the one forced by microsoft and then retired. no matter what i tried the passthrough of the webcam to a 24h2 guest via RDP is completely broken. in some VMs i connect using Citrix, and i've contacted their support but they can't do much since it's a 24h2 RDP issue.with citrix support we ob
