My WiFi just keeps stopping. it says that the DHCP server isn’t responding. Nothing I do seems to help.

I have a microsoft surface My WiFi just keeps stopping. I am able to connect to the WiFi but it says "no internet, secured” I then go to troubleshoot it and it says that the DHCP server isn’t responding. Nothing I do seems to help.It will connect to wifi for a few minutes then just drops out.Have tried rebooting / unplugging router etcNot very techno so any advice or help much appreciated.
