Windows 11 Posted January 31 Posted January 31 I followed the advice to change the registry. "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\StorageDevicePolicies" and ensured the "WriteProtect" value is set to "1"I then insert my CompactFlash drive after double checking the value was set. Unfortunately, I can still copy and delete items from the device. I know this used to work to properly prevent any write activity. I tested on 3 separate computers and all are failing.
