I tried to boot into safe mode and after doing so I was met with the error message, "Something happened and your PIN isn't available. Click to set up your PIN again."

I have tried setting the administrator account to active, I tried setting the registry key passwordless to 0 which enabled the option to try entering a password at the log in screen, but no password that I would have ever used worked... this once available option to enter a password has since disappeared... I also restored Windows from 2 previously saved backups, one was 1 day old the second attempt was 4 days old, but neither made a difference, all attempts have been fruitless. This has been the most anomalous experience I have ever had with Windows and the most perplexing, your help is most
