i think the new update catalog is not a user friendly one.

the old one will check what my system need, the new one don't or i don't

know how.

is there anyway that show what my system needs?

thank you

Ehm, pardon? You may want to use Windows/Microsoft Update and

*not* Windows Update Catalog to let MS search for updates your

system needs: http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com

It's still there and hasn't changed at all.

thanks.

however, if you go to the http://www.microsoft.com -> Security Update -> Microsoft

Update. It will redirect me to the

http://catalog.update.microsoft.com/v7/site/Home.aspx.

anyway, it's fine now. I am happy with the old one.

Oerks, indeed, that link should be corrected and point to the

Windows/Microsoft Update site. I hope that someone of the MVPs

will point MS to that issue and get it corrected.
