Trying to share a drive on small network. Full control to Everyone in the share permissions but still can't access from another computer

I have a desktop (windows 10) and a laptop (windows 11) that I have connected to a 10/100 switch. Network discovery is turned on. I am able to share and access specific folders with no issue, but when I try and share a hard drive, in this case my H: drive, I get a prompt that says I don't have certain permissions. The advanced share settings are set to "Everyone" and "Full Control". Same as the folders, so I am unsure as to what I am doing wrong. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
