How does Magnifier - read feature determine what to highlight in a webpage?

Hello Community!Microsoft Edge + Magnifier: I am trying to understand how Magnifier's read feature highlights/focuses the content being read aloud. I have noticed, for example, that when reading the last word in a sentence, the highlight boundaries extend to the next readable element/content. This is particularly confusing when you are zoomed in with focus tracking. Does anyone know how the highlighting works under the hood?
