Bluetooth suddenly not connecting, Microsoft thinks it works but it doesn't.

Another day another Windows surprise.While it's usually simple to fix since I know Wndows is highly unstable I'm not able to get this one sorted out.I use a USB dongle for my bluetooth (TP-link Bluetooth USB adapter). yesterday it worked fine, today it won't connect anymore, it plays connected devices but windows refuses toconnect new devices. Devices I dropped the connection with won't reconnect too. Ran the troubleshooter (did that ever work for anyone), it saisd it fixed my issue since it didn't think my bluetooth was on (which it was, it just wasn't connecting) and turned it on for me, whi
