I want to put windows 11 into 8-bit (256 color mode). As to why, just want to see how it looks.I know in 98-XP, this can be done in the screen resolution area. How can I do it in 11?things i've tried:Compatibility options - reduced color mode > 8 bit (256 colors) = no changeTried nvidea control panel, nothing to change in there either. Only shows 32-bit color. Is there anything in the registry I can mess with? Please note, this install is running in a virtual machine, and I am not worried about messing anything up. Just want to experiment.
