Windows 11 Posted February 5 Posted February 5 My Windows update keeps failing due to lack of space. I discovered that the lack of space happened because Phone Link now copies all of my phone's data to the C Drive and holds it in a file called CrossDevice which is hidden under Users. The simple answer would have been to delete the files in CrossDevice but that also deletes them on my phone! The second obvious solution would be to disable or remove Phone Link or remove my phone as an attached device. However, there does not appear to be any way of doing either.
