How do I handle a Microsoft Defender 365 AV scan that has been pending for 2 days?

Two days ago, I initiated a remote full scan on one of my devices in the environment, and it still hasn't completed, even though the device appears to be active. I can't submit a new scan because the previous one is still in progress, and the option to resubmit is greyed out. I'm not even sure if the scan is functioning at all. It seems like the device might not be receiving the command. Do you have any idea why this scan is taking so long?Also wanted to ask will Defender send remote scans to devices that are noncompliant?
